There are plenty of parking spots around Barlicki Square, but they fall within the paid parking zone — we're in sub-zone B. Payment must be made at a parking meter within 5 minutes of parking. Card and coin payment both accepted.
The paid parking zone is in effect on working days, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 to 19:00. Outside these hours, parking is free
If you're not sure how long you'll be staying, you can pay via mobile apps instead of a parking meter — unlike the meter, the app doesn't require you to declare your parking duration upfront. Just tap start when you arrive and stop when you leave; the fee is calculated automatically and charged to your payment card or the app's virtual wallet.
It's possible to park in the building's courtyard, though the residents' association permits only one car per unit — get in touch with a member currently at the Space (or ping us on the Telegram/Matrix channel, or call the space's landline: 42 203 20 50) — if our spot is free, we'll open the gate. Fair warning — the entrance is tight.
If you're coming from the east, watch out for the closure of Zielona St. at the Zachodnia/Kościuszki intersection. We recommend coming via Więckowskiego St. (from the north) or Andrzeja Struga St. (from the south). A current map of roadworks in Łódź can be found at lodz.pl/remonty.
If you're heading to the HS on foot, by bike, or by e-scooter, watch out for the closure of Zielona St. at the Zachodnia/Kościuszki intersection. You'll need to go around the construction site via one of the adjacent streets: 6 Sierpnia or Więckowskiego.

The nearest active tram stop is Gdańska/Zielona.
Due to construction of an underground cross-city tunnel beneath Zielona St., trams are currently not running along that street.
Anyone planning to reach the HS from trams on Zachodnia or Kościuszki St. should note that Zielona St. is not passable on foot from Kościuszki to Wólczańska — use Więckowskiego or 6 Sierpnia instead! You can get off at the temporary stop on 6 Sierpnia St.. Walking from Zachodnia/Kościuszki to the Space is about 750 metres.
Departing from stops at Barlicki Square — right by the HS.
750 m from the HS, on Kościuszki St. between Zielona and Andrzeja Struga (best reached via 6 Sierpnia St.), is the central night bus hub, from which lines fan out to all parts of the city.
At the slightly closer stop — Więckowskiego/Pogonowskiego, 350 m from the HS — you can catch line N3 (A and B) towards Koziny, Cyganka, Teofilów.
550 m from the HS, at the 1 Maja/Pogonowskiego stop, you can catch line N3 in the opposite direction — towards the city centre (near Galeria Łódzka), Kilińskiego St., Niepodległości Square, Chojny, Kurczaki.
A private bike can be left in the building's courtyard, or brought into the space's entrance hall (though it's a tight fit). We have a pump and tools in the space if you need to do minor repairs.
